Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply has approved a new seed quarantine facility for SGS, an  inspection, verification, testing and certification company located in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo. The new facility will focus on both imported seeds for breeding and R&D trials for all major crops in Brazil.

SGS’s new quarantine facility allows the company to offer independent and accurate phytosanitary analysis of seeds imported for research and development programs into Brazil.
