Best Agrolife Ltd. Acquires Best Crop Science Pvt. Ltd.

In another strategic move, Indian agrochemical company Best Agrolife Limited has announced the acquisition of Best Crop Science Pvt Ltd., an Indian-based company supported with robust R&D synthesis in manufacturing of Active Ingredients of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.

This acquisition will further help Best Agrolife in the diversification of risk and strengthening of its manufacturing base with the addition of another state-of-the-art technical manufacturing unit in the Gajraula, Amroha district, Uttar Pradesh.

Best Crop Science holds 85-plus Active Ingredient manufacturing licenses, which includes some highly advanced import substitutes like dinotefuran and pyraclostrobin, which have recently come out of patent. In addition, Best Crop Science Pvt. Ltd. received Central Insecticide Board & Registration Committee’s approval for indigenous manufacturing of trifloxystrobin technical u/s 9(3). With this new addition, the company becomes the first agrochemical company in India to manufacture and market trifloxystrobin technical, a fungicide that has enormous demand in the domestic and global markets of North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, South America Middle East, and Africa.

This acquisition will help Best Agrolife Limited to increase its revenue by 40% on the back of these in-demand products.

For the recently announced three-way combination patent of Best Agrolife’s brand Ronfen, this acquisition will play a synergistic role as Best Crop Science Pvt. Ltd. manufactures all three Active Ingredients — pyriproxyfen, diafenthiuron, and dinotefuran — which are in the composition of this patented formulation.
